This is a nice image--over all. I've been told that using the stock MAX textures is a NO-NO because they are so recognizable. Also, I would suggest making the shadows from the sunlight source a bit sharper--but leave it at its current brightness. I'd work on the sky/ambient light. (You can fake "global illumination" by placing a bunch of very faint omni lights on a large dome.) I don't know what to tell you about the trees. (I don't use plants in my scenes BECAUSE it is so difficult to make them realistic.) Oh, I'd also suggest doing a little research on classical--Greek/Roman--architecture, because they did things a certain way. (I"m an architect, so that kind of stuff is really obvious to me.) Don't get discouraged, and keep at it!

DeathGoth nice input. I happen to live near this thing by the way. it should be more of an orange color but awsome job. One night my cousin and I got stoned and some vicous racoons chased us out.
