Description
With some help from dukduk in the forum on neon lighting I went to work. I started with some simple models I did in Rhino to experiment with. I have not been using my Bryce that much and am learning a lot more about its lighting capabilities than I did before I started this. But this is my first attempt at a neon light and I am looking for any useful tips. I am not quite happy with this so I will keep working on this subject matter for a while. I would like to see what I might come up with. Thank you for looking.
About 25 lights in this reg AA render took about 45 min. and only post is my name.

Interesting.... you've got it almost there, I couldn't put my finger on what finicky little detail is holding it back from reality. It's almost as if the light is not - quite - clean? does that make any sense? I'd be interested to know how you do that though... =P

I do understand what you mean. I feel the same way that it is just off from what it should be. What I really need is a real neon sign right here with me to get a better feel of how it works with the enviroment around it. But as I said I am going to keep at it. thank you for commenting.

I think it's a great attempt...just more of a glow needed around the tube...you know the bright aura sort of thing neon gives off?
