This is a scene from one of my animations, i will post some others if you all think its good.

Looking at this I wonder, how would one use this blade with two spines working there way up the blade. It appears to interfear with the body of the blade, and not be effective in allowing for long sweeping slashing motions, which it would be normaly intended. It also appears that the blade fades to easly into the background. Perhaps a lighter background color, or a reflected light off the wall, that dosnt reflect off the blade. Just somthing to gring the blade to more prominence in the picture.
