BobbyStahr aka Robert Purves was seduced into computers late in life(age 45) by a free Amiga 1000 that I needed to transcribe music with. When that was done one thing led to another and 18 months later due to a need for speed and Imagine porting over I jumped to a pc. Never looked back happy to say. I play no games, have no business software, just art and music. BIO I use Imagine a lot, Photoshop quite a bit, Vue6I PLE a bit also, and have played a bit with the free ver. of Cinema4D, and am recently enamored of the new TG 3 Free. I also write copious amounts of music in an awesome and inexpensive music writing software called MelodyAssistant, available at http://www.myriad-online.com The hyphen is part of the URL. Highly reccomended to anyone, musician or not. I got into art from sports at an early age when I discovered I was more into cooperation than competition...my mission statement is" Never go straight.....Go Forward...."

I'm just pleased that I can finally see Imagine renders on Renderosity, lol - took many days of trying before it would accept me. Great atmosphere...how did you manage visible light beams? The only thing I'd add would be some debris on the ground under the platform...it's way too clean, imo! (But the composition is terrific.) Of course, I suppose that they could have harsh penalties for littering here!
bobbystahr
the harsh penalties being mainly render times..heh heh heh...the visible light is volumetrics, available to imagine subscribers to the CUP

Very moody....those steps and door look inviting tho, could do a gig in there perhaps.Good rendering.Mag.

Light beams are easy enough to create with a fog object, well that's how I remember doing some quite a while back trying to create an image for the inside of an edge cover. Lighting isn't quite right for me but the build quality is very good, especially knowing Imagine. :)

Thanz Mag...thanx Dean as well was fun to build...kinda forgot about fog objects, had this originally set up with the same idea using voulmetric objects but decieded i liked it better in an actual volumetric environment with the light really interacting with the atmosphere,so what's missing on the lighting..a lil clue please...lol
