Description
Been working on this for a day or so. The costume for the soldiers is from freestuff, the rest was made in bryce. The setting is a world war 1 trench, which i thought was more of a no mans land then the space between. Im kind of in a block, but this is one of the few images ive done in the past week that IMO hasnt sucked that bad. either way I still want to know what you think!

I like the feel and composition of the piece. The clothing on the solider doesn't look right for some reason. He seems to have a gun leaning against him but it is lost in shadow. The grainy effect in this black an white render makes it look like a WWI photo. Great work.

The black and white color scheme fits the theme on two fronts - that of being an old photo and also that war is hell. Great work.

Cinematically perfect, if I was building a film crew, I would ask you to be on it. Only detraction, is, if you had added some nice noisy bump maps, this would be a photo!!! Awesome work!!!
