Description
1996 in the Arapaho National Forest near Steamboat Springs, Colorado. At about 9000 feet elevation and there were streaks of snow on the ground even though it was a warm June day. I thought these plants in the foreground were unusual and cool. They looked sort of like corn, but definitely weren't. I have no idea what they were.
