Hey Amber, this reminds me very closely of some of kracker's work from a year or two ago... he of course was expressing similar sentiments, the curse of depression, so if he was an influence (it's meant as a compliment) then I'm not surprised ;-)
It comes and goes doesn't it? I feel for you, but am glad it's gone, at least for now hugs you tight :-)

this is one hell of image!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad to know you don't feel so anymore, but indeed everyone here who attempts to kind of evocative/dark/pushing images should firstly look what you do, and realize what is gret for real... the neat borders, your limited use of blur, that mantaines detailes and realism... all is so amazing :)

I often find myself feeling as though my soul has been mottled with some sort of cancer... much like your image. You have created something dark that I can easily relate to and I love that. Like you, the feeling rarely persists. I have ways of cleansing myself from within and for that I am lucky. Thank you for sharing this with us!
