Description

A "draft" for a book cover I'm working on. Dedicated to that dynamic duo, Mel and Andy, who continue to provide inspiration, encouragement, and support for my artistic endearvors.

I could just hug you for being you. :) Paul, I can't express enough the importance of detail and lighting. I can not wait to see this finished, because in truth it's really beautiful and accurately lighted. The background and reflections in the floor just add that much more. I'm impressed!!

I have to concur with Mel on this one. I see so many images in the galleries that have moons behind them and these blown out lights in the front which make no sense whatsoever. I commend you for the scene arrangement on this piece and also for the accuracy of the lighting and use of true environmental color on the model. This is great work so far and I'm sure the final will be something exceptional. You've got all of the important aspects down and that places you far ahead of the majority. Well done my friend!
