Description

I just picked up a copy of Vue d'Esprit 2.1 yesterday and wanted to try a quick landscape. I'm quite impressed with the program, and am looking forward to many happy renders. Please feel free to comment on this image, or pass along any advice you might have. Created entirely in Vue d'Esprit (with Photoshop 5.5 for the signature only).

Very nice render......my only comment would be....it doesnt make sense to have a palm tree growing out of a rock...like the one in the centre. Aside from that...I like it :) Well done!!!!

Cool-- another new Vue-er! Make sure you drop by the forum and say hello, and ask questions! I'd have to agree with what SR said here, but overall it's pretty nice, and a pretty good start. Do you mean Vue 2.1 or Vue 3.1? I wasn't aware there was a 2.1

Thanks, both of you. I suppose the center tree is a bit odd, but I was just so happy to be working with software that natively supports vegitation (having just come from Terragen) that I went a little overboard. mjustmike; I got Vue 2 and the patch to 2.1 from March's issue of Computer Arts, which took forever to arrive here in the US. But I am planning on upgrading to 3.1 within the week. Again, thanks for the feedback.
