I love the terrain texture - the slippery wet look is perfect on those muted colours...

Excellent render .. one of the better ones I've seen lately ! I like the colors and the plastic feeling of the surface ... Maybe the sky could be improved to match the 'look' of the terrain ?

I really like it as well and agree with Hendricc that some sky work would really make this stand out. Then again, I've never built my own planet so...

I like the direction your taking on this.. A few ideas/suggestions.. Try a texture for the specular highlights..That can add a whole new dimension to materials.. I don't know how many cloud layers ya got going on, but perhaps vary the color of the layers to make them stand out from each other more.. Try playing with the LFS on the clouds.. If ya use relatively large numbers, you can have areas that are really cloudy and some that are not.. One more cloud suggestion..Try some distorted noise as a basis.. It makes some really cool clouds..

I can't help you with this. I only can say that I like the image very much and it has a beautiful combination of colors and compo. Excellent image.
