This is really nice work. Lovely lighting. The only things are the people. I know they're 'architectural' people, but I think they spoil it as a render.

your alpha matte on your tree in the foreground is off there are sections you should be able to see through that are actually black. Other than that it looks cool. A few questions, Are you only using this for a still render or are you going to have some camera movements at all? Did you use Real Tree, Real People, plugins? If not did you photograph the people yourself? Is the background a model or a texture on a plane? Sorry about all the inquisitions, I just like the overall look of the composition and I kind of am doing some of the same thing so I like to know how other people solve some of the problems I'm having in my work. Good piece, Thanks!

rufuss, you're right-i just opend my maxfile and i really had forgotten to turn on alpha-:O( in this form i use it only for still render cause the building isn't worth to make camera movements. the trees are only maps on two crossed planes. next time i'll use "real trees" made with treemaker or treefactory - but they have a lot of faces, so it's better to render them first as tga and use this map in the right perspective. the poeple are postwork with photoshop. no plugins. and to your last question-the background is also postwork with photoshop but the imagepart has to be distorted(the right word?) in the corresponding perspective. thankx for your comment, offroad
