Description

A feline ranger/druid from a d&d game I played in for a short while. She is Shar Treewalker. Apparently I did a pretty vile job on her armor since everyone keeps thinking it's platemail (since when is platemail generally brown?). Anyhoo, it is NOT platemail. They are hardened bits of leather *grumble* Yeap. She looks breastless. She's a cat person. Except for when pregnant and nursing, cats generally don't have large defined breasts. So I went with a bit more of realism on this one (unlike my usual cat girls). I'm rather unhappy with her weapons and may give her a bit of a touchup sometime to fix that and try a few things I've changed since I did this one.

Hardened Leather as such as she is wearing would be call Cuir-Bouille (spelled something like that) it is lether, boiled in oil(s) and draped over a shape, which it will retain as it colls, dries, and hardens... try a bit less shine and some slight scuffing to make it appear more leather-like... reminds me of the Cat-People in my RPG... are you doing this in combination Pen/Pencil and Photoshop?

Yeap. Pencil, scanned, then colored in photoshop.

Well, for her armor,... it does kinda look like plate,... but that the shine, not the shape. Leather armor, even hardened, should have some rough texture to it to offset the smooth sheen. You'd see this the most along the lines that delineate different shades or colors, a lot like fur. A slight spray painted speckle to it, or the soft use of a lightness brush set at about 6% intesity and 10% density might do it. Otherwise, I love the double bent legs. Much more like what the Fellnari is supposed to be,... if only I could build the 3D character like that,... grumble.

Hmmm.... hadn't thought about the spray paint speckled... I may try messing about with that one and give it a shot.
