Description
We release a cloud of Cesium and Xenon gases into the path of the missile. Then blast it with a stream of ions from our XIP drives. As the SCRAM missile flies through the cloud of ionized gas, it's onboard systems will become disoriented. Then we release the energy collector panels from the rear section of the array. By the time the missile recalibrates its targeting sensors, the panels will be in it's direct path and should become the missile's new target giving us enough time to get clear of harm's way.
All right, let's do it. Tres?
All release mechanisms armed and ready for separation of rear energy collector array panels.
Stoner?
Computer shows ready on gas release and ion engine firing sequences.
Dee?
Navigational computers set and ready to make course corrections. Four minutes till impact, Commander.
Ok folks, this is our best shot at getting through this and we only get to do it once. Standby!
Inspired by the artwork of Tommy3D and the writings of Edgar Rice Burroughs.
Thank you for taking out the time to look.

Trying out another new format so I can get into that graphic novel/comic book "frame" of mind. Get it? "Frame" of mind. Oh what's wrong with you people ;P Not real comfortable with adding word balloons yet, but I'll get there. Thanks again for your support.

I like this format. Word balloons take up too much space in your graphic image. Thanks for the tactics lesson! Love it.

You've caught their stress and the way that leads to solutions and surprises as the reality of the threat emerges escaping from some conjectures to form new tactics. The format is not too busy here as they get on the edge of information overload.
