Description

It was sad to hear the the conjoined Iranian twins Laleh and Ladan Bijani did not survive the surgery to seperate them. If you haven't heard the story, they were 29 year old siamese twins, joined at the head. It broke my heart when I read that one of their most fervent wishes was to be able to look into each other's face. Now they can

I was very surprised this morning when Pariah told me about the twins death. I cant imagine how hard it must have been for them to accept the risk needed to be seperated. God bless them and you for creating this moving tribute.

This is very beautiful!! I have been following the story of the twins also and was very saddened to hear they had passed on. This is a loving and beautiful tribute to them and the spirit of life they have shown us all.

Very sad, indeed... They lived together - they died separated but without reaching their goal - to stare each other in the eyes... I'll never forget their courage and sweet smile... Wonderful image, beautiful tribute.
