I'm not to happy over the brightness of the flower, but I din't want to crop it to hard, and loose the space around the flower fly. I think that the pink stuff on it is pollen, but I'm not sure.

What a fantastic macro!! I just tried to get one of these with my cam today but it was a total flop. Now I have something to strive for :-)

Perfect focus on the wasp, nice dof. But white is blown away. You could separate em in layers and adjust the white into less white, theres still details there. What cam do you use? The details on the critter is perfect.

Thanks for the comments :-) And thanks Kropot, for the tip on using layers. I will try that. This is shot with a Nikon Coolpix 5700.

excellent macro! not looking at the flower at all but the layering ideal is a good one to try & would certainly enhance this shot overall :]

WOW. stunning macro, I think the brightness of the flower increase the interest to the bee, but let me know if you try some changes with layers, I would like to see the new image. But for me this one is an excellent macro and I think I can say very well done.

Now I feel like sneezing even more. And yepp, we call it honey fly, because it eats pollen. Good fly, eat more, eat it all. This is one the shit of a good macro! What a detail! Wow!
