Description

in a way ths piece came out of the pure process of the art of making and not from the technically based, i don't get into the rigidity of rules or setting myself that this is my idea and my art is just going to represent that idea of my goal, no, it's not that at all, i think it's more like when i fly over a land pattern and i see something and it's beautiful, and i just want to be inspired by and evoke something of that nature without getting into the super-technical aspects of it, and, so maybe, i'm trying to point out some aspects that you might not notice, i have a deeper love and respect for all artistic creation! the art is really so personal, i just sort of need to see it at times, that process that someone invented to temper glass, and when you break it and you release the pressure, the cracks and fissures form a certain way, u look down and it's cracking sort of similarly, again, it's science that's dictating certain natures and certain laws in a way, i'm just capturing them, so it's less about pure mimicry than trying to capture a process and bring it forth a little bit, i'm relying much more on natural forces of nature to help me make these works, fundamentally i just do it because i need to, i feel a sense, and i need to see it this certain way! *thankz 4 viewing*

Yeah, I can relate to that, I think. Artistic creation SHOULD come first and foremost out of an inner need. This is one of those pieces that can be interpreted in numerous ways and I like that aspect. I think you could develop it further but I guess that's a subjective point... like the way it rides on the edge of black and white :-)

As artists, we are constantly balancing inspiration with technical skill, and sometimes the inspiration needs to be given free reign. I'm curious to see where this expression leads in the future. (Not that it HAS to lead anywhere).

Art is always about what we feel. And sometimes that is the hardest part of ourselves to touch or express. In this piece I see the infinite landscape of ideas melting into your face, your artist's eye looking from within. It is not the art itself that matters really, but the process of creation. Excellent work. CC

ok this is a real abstrsakt work, showing the power of creation, not the detaild workout . i am not really a fan of that style of art --- but --- sometimes it happens by myself that i take a brush, squeeze out some tubes of coloure, and let my mind free, without using it i guess -- mostly i dont like the result but i really enjoy doing it -- i never shown such work to people, cause i thought, "hey man you cant show this, looks like you are a beginner" - hmmm maybe i thougt wrong, think you are right, this is also a artistic creation - , by the way your immage looks really great, looks like you really thougt over what you do (you really should see mine loooll - really terible things)--- hmmm yes think i am ready - you are without question a real artist. see you

I like this Tania, and I tend to agree with your philosophy in terms of "non-technical" Art. I also think that an understaning of various "technical" techniques probably helps the artist render more accuratly what comes to mind. For exapmple, how is one to make something with Photoshop if one has never used it before? It must be learned over time. Who is to say what is right or wrong in art though? I usually just do whatever comes to mind, but doesn't always come out as I initially imagined. I do think that the rendering of art is a learning process like most things in life are. Therefore I assume I could use more practice, and I may even take a few classes in the near future because I would like to be more technically accurate in this sense. -Peace :-)

My Personal feeling is much the same, as..."the need is Me"...but then, I do not consider Myself an Artist...more an Art Piece...and, someone is trying to express Me...that may be Tedz?Brenda? The HC? ...or whomever...but, I do believe it comes from deep within..not everybody scribbled on Cave Walls ...just those with the ...Need. Your work here is pleasing to My Eye...that is something You needed to Show...but...not necessary Me, however, it is something I need to see...but..not necessary You. When the Cave Man used a Chisel, His Peers may have said that He was too Technically advanced to be a True Artist...or Art Piece. You will either Love what I have Commented....or strike Me off Your Favourite Artist. Bon Jour Mon Ami :)

Oh this is too cool. Your words are fantastic as well. For me, I create for me. Popularity, notoriety, acceptance... all of these things are irrelevant to me (although they are very welcome if they appear on my doorstep). If I have impressed myself with what I was trying to do, then anybody else who likes it is just a bonus. Kudos and hugs. Thank you for sharing this with us!

The title fits that piece very well - the landscape of a human face, most creatively presented in a clear artistic vision. As for your comment, I don't consider myself an artist, all I know is just that there's a need, yes, that I have to follow, trying to capture the world around me, seing it just as it is or in a totally different way... A very thought provoking image and words, Tania. Thank you! :)))

Interresting discussion! I use to fingerpaint just to make something from scratch. Most often nothing to save, but I have saved a buch that I made when the first Iraq war started many many years ago. I sat up the whole night, listening to the new and painted like a maniac. Just for release of mixed feelings. Your painting is something like that Tania, and I like it a lot. Inner landscape transformed.

This is pure emotion. I can see the beauty and the sorrow. This is the best way to express oneself. You can learn much about yourself from your own work. It's such an inner process creating these types of works. Thanks for sharing with us Tania...

it is a gift that some of us artists have, and you posses it strongly.. it is the gift of great vision... not great vision through the eyes, but visions through the mind, body and soul...

I saw an eye, first, and then a beautiful bird, but I'm not one of those who wants at all costs to find some deep and phylosophical meaning into each work they see: To me, art is deep itself, it's already one of the most noble things, that doesn't need to be "justified". Art is art...as is, and it's different, alsways, depending on who's the creator! :-) Excellent work, Tania.

The art of observation, our own personal soul intertwined with our own perception of that which strikes our fancy and what is inspirational and beautiful to us. This is what I get from your words and this is truly a meaningful representation of those words. I applaud your deep minded beauty and could not agree more. kiss
