Description
The Story - "While en route to the Bellatrix star system, in the constellation of Orion, the Shag Harbour class U.S.S. Starplex detects an unusual form of radiation. The ship alters course to find the source of that radiation. When they arrive at the apparent point of origin of the radiation, they are stunned to find that there is no source anywheres to generate the radiation. No stars, no gas clouds, no quantum singularities, nothing. Like it came from thin air.
The Starplex was very close to the radiation's apparent point of origin, 900,000,000 km. The Captain decided to move in closer for greater resolution. When they got closer, the Starplex vanishes without a trace with all hands.
Two months later, three Starfleet vessels picked up what appears to be the wreckage of the Starplex. But analysis of the hull has shown that the Starplex was not attacked, but the damage was caused by extreme aging. To the shock of the forensics team, the atomic clocks aboard the Starplex has shown that from the time it disappeared to when it was found, the ship had aged 140,000 years.
When the forensics team had determined where the Starplex disappeared, the mystery was partially solved. The co-ordinates were between the Bellatrix star system and the Kessik star system. The line between those two star systems made up one of the three sides of the Delta Triangle. It has claimed another victim"
The picture - Acually I was fooling around with a Star Trek style starship I made with AutoCAD after I had converted to 3DS. I made the story up while I was going along. The starfield was made with MGI Photosuite SE. The Delta Triangle was made with AutoCAD. Also, Bellatrix does exist in the constellation of Orion. Just for you information, Wolf 359 also exists in real life.

Nice ship, and great angle of view!

good story, good model..only thing you might look at is the stars..the placement is too even. Look for Universe, Starbits, programs like that, that are free, and give it that extra touch of realism. good work going on here..
