Description
Well, due to a storm 2 days ago, my router is now....a pile of electrical mush. But I had to show you guys this. I made this in about 1/2 minus rendering time. As most of you know after seeing my work and complaining about working on a 700mhz it took about 30 minutes to render at the detail settings I had setup.
Neways, after playing Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne (review article on my site http://xero.quantum-designs.com) I wanted to make a few things just to see if I could make them. Funny huh?
Anyways, here is the first item. A tome...book, whatever you wanna call it. Not the best book model ever made but here it is. LOL It's better than the last time I tried to make such an item for a picture I was working on.
This will probably be going in a mage package I'm trying to work on. Ganna take a shot at making clothes and what not. The tome it's self will probably be up in the Rhino freebee section as soon as I can get my STINKING router fixed...or buy a new one. A copy will also be done for Poser [SophiaDeer ;}]
To make this, most of it is lofting (loft) and pipe along curve (pipe command and then select edge curve) and array along curve (arraycrv) along with using the Solid > Text... feature with and Old English-like font.
Quick tutorial there for Rhino beginners.
