In the long history of "children should be seen but not heard," "silence in the court," loose lips sink ships," "oath of silence," "code of silence," this deal stands out. "I don't believe what I read in the papers," or "I never read the newspaper," treads on the next broken path. The huge leap to action and peril seems a chasm long ago bridged with a major railroad and a highway running on it's right of way.
