Description

I have been wanting to make a tribute picture in memory of the 7 astronauts who lost their lives in the shuttle disaster on 01/02/03. This is what I finally created and it represents where we will go because of the dangerous work that these astronauts carry out. Hopefully one day we will get to Mars and there will always be seven more stars in the skies or at least in our memories to shine on this new world.

Beautiful words and a wonderful idea. You have caught the emotion that so passionately stirrs our hearts whenever we remember that dreadful tragedy. May those stars shine bright!

A really nice idea Catlin, I enjoyed your tribute and I'm sure others will. The stars really speak volumes in what work they, and other NASA men and women, go through while on a mission. Nice job.

What a thought provoking render! I would have backed this up with a few technical objects...a rover, or base camp....0.02p

Wonderful sentiment Catlin! I hope we go to Mars too, not only to set up bases and colonise, but to find the answers to so many anomalies that have been observed.

This is a nice, nice, quite and peaceful picture, I love the leaves and the colors work perfect together. Really nice job.

It's cool, i like it. It's simple, it expresses quiet lonliness and hope.
