Ysvry, I'm not really sure where that comment came from... But I use a many OSes in the course of a day (various versions of Windows, Unix; flavors of Linux and Mac OS X). And I can say that, while Windows has come a long way, XP doesn't come close to OS X. Software wise, they are way ahead of the game. Hardware wise, they are known for being behind. That, though, seems to have changed with the release of the new G5 (the chip is made by IBM and happens to be one of the first 64-bit chips in a personal computer). Anyway, to be fair, I am typing this right now on my home built Windows box. So I don't think I can change your mind about OSes, it seems everybody's pretty set. Couldn't resist the urge to try, though. :) Oh, and sorry Maenad, for taking up space of your form for no good reason... :) BTW I like the Shedder gear you made, and would like to see it with textures in a full sized image.

ahh good so im not the only one.. oh, and to the mac topic. I cant speak much from a knowledgable standpoint...because im not. and i cant say much about hardware/software for the two..i just know that i hate MacOS's GUI...the visuals..i hate it, and i can never find my way around. I like windows because they dont try to make it easy to find something by logic and end up oversimplifying..instead they make the same thing accessable by a million different means hehe. And i may be illinformed but from what i understand, Windows supports more software than Mac..but im not really interested anywho shrugs. P.S. not sore about wasted comments...i do the same thing

MAC's are the choice of graphic artists, yet I enjoy my Windows XP more. I work for a media Corp. with 100's of graphic art departments and thousands of Mac's. Mostly G4's. They are fun, but I find them annoying as well. By the way cool image, Maenad.
