Wonderful image!! The lighting and scene arrangement are excellent! What did you use to create the ship interior?
Jacko
I used MAX to model the interior, Photoshop to make the texture, bump, trans, ambience and reflection maps. Then adjusted everything in Poser 5 for the final render.

Wow, this is really fantastic. The lighting and the slight haziness at the opening of the door are incredible. Nice job! :)

It's a beautifully done work.
I actually feel the pain she feels for her lost companion for wich she's holding the tag, while she looks out at the sky.
Well, maybe that's too much of my imagination and you ment somehting entirely different, but... hey! art is understood by each in a different way... isn't it? ;)
Jacko
That's exactly what I ment with the picture! :-D

KIA and MIA, two of the dreaded acronyms there are...very nicel done here. And the comments between ervin & Jacko are exactly the type I like to see..'nice posing', 'nice butt', are okay but I like to see the personal reaction to a picture. How does my picture affect you, do you see the point I am trying to make? This is what determines the effectiveness of the effort. Great job.

Beautiful. I wanted to do a pic just like this and wasted a lot of paper trying to figure out how to compose it. You've got it just right. The scenery and lighting is absolutely dead-on, and though it is definately a future/science fiction setting it also has exactly the sense of the Navy ships I've visited (and the aircraft I've jumped out of). It strikes just the right emotional mix...pride and excitement and sorrow and fear and even a feeling of "it should have been me."

Thanks!! I spent a lot of time working on getting the Navy ship-look just right. I threw a little "Aliens" and a little "Top Gun" into it and ended up with this result.
