Description

Sorry I have not posted anything here in a real long time. I been doing lots of things but nothing I felt was worth posting here until now. I been doing a lot of experamenting lately with Maya. I would like to do some decent anthro characters in 3D. Somthing I know is very hard to do. This picture is a combination of a lot of experaments. The idea for it came from listening to Evanescence 'Bring Me Back To Life' and was supposed to be sort of gothy looking but it kind of developed into a different direction from there. I have a greyscale version of this wich I think is a much stronger piece but after showing it around it seems that everyone likes the color one better. You can see the greyscale one at http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/2379452. I know the serpant's body stands out but its a paint effect that didn't react with the lighting the same. Fiddleing with it seemed to make it worse so I just left it as a learning experiance for next time. I know wich one I like but what do you think? =^_^=

It's very abstract to me, still trying to figure it out. Experimenting is good, it helps you learn and improve, you are brave to show your experiments ;)
