Description
Got some film back from my time in the Sierras this week. Here's Parker Lake, near the town of Mammoth Lakes, California.
All week I was cursed with clear blue skies. Hardly a cloud. Grrr! Yep, even funkandjazz sometimes has bad cloud karma. I did my best with the bland skies...

Sunny blue and not a cloud in site is the photographers bane..... almost as bad as overcast. Looks like you did well....this is beautiful.

This is very beautiful. I like how the lake reflects both green and blue colors. You captured many factors of natures beauty in this photograph from the clear blue sky, to the magnificing barren snow-capped peaks, to the beautiful lake and hills of lush green and trees. Looks like a shallow lake there. I like this photograph here, most excellent as all your stuff is of course. ;-) -Peace :-)

Not to worry about the sky. This picture rocks! The reflections on the water, the subject(log) in the foreground the submerged rocks, the mountain....everything about it is fantastic.

Oh, that's so wonderful, the water and everything, too bad i won't get into the Sierras this summer...argh, Pt Reyes it is for me. I love this, a top wilderness photo. Great desktop if it were right dimensions.
