Description
In my dreams
I see a rose drenched in blood
Thorns have blood dropplets on them
I wake with a start in the middle of the night
And think nothing more of the dream
Years later I see it again
Only now it is not a dream
I drop my sword
And fall to my knees
And realise the blood on the rose
Is mine
I know I am dying
And I have no regrets
I fall to the ground and turn my head
I look at the rose and smile crosses my lips
As I breath my last breathe
These words escape my lips
"I can finally be at peace"

For those of you who don't get it the rose is a symbol of death in the dream. Then there it is again when I'm dying.
