Description
This image came about as I was just splaying around, trying to learn the program. I finally decided to put some dinos in, and give the image a rest. The animals are a model of Coelophysis bauri that I made. Of course, grass didn't evolve for more than a hundred million years after Coelophysis went extinct, so do not take the image too seriously.

My gosh, you're just learning the program! Nice job. The only comment I would make is that the large clumps of grass look slightly out of place. I think their color is too bright or something.

Thanks, chas2093. I agree about the grass. I thought large clumps of grass would add a nice touch, but then I tried to make them cast shadows and found that WB shades the entire blade if the root is anchored on a shadowed spot, and doesn't shade it at all if the root is unshadowed. So here this grass was casting shadows on itself, and it looked ugly, with a mix of really dark and light blades. So I upped the ambient light settings of the grass a lot to get rid of the effect, giving them something of a glowing look. If I was doing this again I would change the lighting a lot and not have the grass cast shadows, but I figure that I'll give this scene a rest and make the next one look better.
