Description

Despite the fact, that after looking at this, and thinking.....I can probably nit a sweater out of all the hair on this one :-)....I think it's pretty beautiful :-) Directly translated from swedish,its called an Oak bombycid. I tried to move it, so I could get a shot from the back, with its wings spread in all its glory....but it thought otherwise,and flew away :-)

shudder i have a moth phoebia. moths and slugs are the only things that scare me. if i woke up to find that thing crawling over me, id start screaming like a schoolgirl :( yikes.. great photo though :) no way id get that close to the thing unless it was with a fly-swatter. cheers, -gabriel
