Description

This poem was writen by Connie Through Alice's looking glass impossible become possible. Discovering the ultimate answer in a being's life, 'who am I'?, when day fades to night, running away, afraid of the consequences of catching a forbidden shooting star. Starting a new beginning of an illusion of promises. Giving of oneself for a paradox, love lost yet found, destined to never be obtained. What a person's unexpected surprises out of life, is a creation of a cruel fate. Fields of wild flowers on the edge of the forest of distrust, shameless lust, and of no escape of the betrayal of a loved one. Lady of the moon, why are you here watching the dark prince sleep, his face, the look of a fallen angel fighting is way up through hell toward blissful solace. Ebony hair, lips the color of pale pink rose buds at bloom, skin taunt and tanned like silk on steel, eyes hidden from view, yet known from his sleepless lover as the color of dark sky, midnight blue orbs. Who is she? The beacon of light from her home the moon basking her in a golden white aura making her an even envious sight to behold for she is never to be obtained by that of only her dark prince. Eyes, when seen up close, the color of an oceans wave. Hair of translucent silk threads shine all about her prone form; the domain in which the lovers lay wrapped in sheets of black satin, from the princes own bed. A crescent moon insignia of her birthright place upon her brow. Dear lady, join your lover in the arms of Morpheus. Do not be frightened by what you see, just open your heart to as you please, but beware, your majesty, of what you dare love. If you leave this world with one last breath, remember this well princess, his darkness will protect your light of goodness. Rest princess
