Description
The first of a second series of images in which I explored the mathematical structures known as "strange attractors"; this particular series focused on images whose structure not only gave some illusion of depth, like the first series, but which also suggested some aspect of "impossible geometry". In this image, the latter is suggested by the seeming turning and folding apparent in the image which gives an impression that the object is a fluidly swirling mass of turns and curves, when in reality is only a collection of millions of 1-pixel dots plotted two-dimensionally in subtly varying shades of color.
