Description

I wanted to make a quick render of some new bodyarmor I am working on. Because of some really exagerated render setting, rendering was everything but quick. Instead I had to wait 7 hours till it was done. Composition and scene are heavily inspired by the Tom Clancy games Rainbow Six, Rogue Spear and Raven Shield. I hope you like it :D

Very good! I am not that much of a shooter gamer, but this picture is awesome! It looks almost like a professional ad!

Wow - excellent work! I love that balaclava - will it be included in the pack? Glad to see you're still doing this - I thought you were just doing spacecopters and stuff! The poses are excellent, the hand pose on the mp5 is especially good, looking foward to more =)

The image is awesome. The armor is xcelent. I think a desert style camo would also go well.

SEVEN hours?!! hehe ok suuuure it looks great! but whatever it is, smooth lighting or smooth colours you could have done it in photoshop after a 30min renderer!

Sure. It was the volumetric light that was broken through the glass. I should have left the glass distorsion out. Together with radiosity rendering, this resulted in the extreme render time. Well, you never learn without making mistakes. ;P
