Description

A Father's Love by Donna D'Amelio What whispered fables in the night Are told beneath a moon of fear Lines between the dark and light Haunt the shadows where I dwell. Moments stolen in twists of fate Eyes that sparkle with hidden lies Deep beneath the ocean's tide I wait and watch the dawn. And when Apollo greets the day I hear the thunder of his steeds Tell me now oh cherished heart Before I die in dawn's embrace. I have my heart, my soul's own breath The light that shines in twilight's dream Abandoned on the shores of doubt I fall and die once more.
