Description

Taken in Old San Juan, this statue was so full of emotion I couldn't help but capture it. I'm not sure what it depicts (The plaque was written in spanish) but I'm sure it has a story behind it. If anyone is familiar with it, please enlighten me.

I love this one! I have always wanted to take a photo collection of statues in different countries. This is one of the neatest statues I have seen. Very nice photo. I t does make me want to go research it's origin and story. =) Cris

I find the irony interesting. The serene colors of the blue sky and the palm trees call up a feeling of relaxation yet the statue shows a struggle between three humans. This could say, "there is no place to relax"
