Description
Here's my latest.
Everything done in ZBrush, except for the price tag which was modelled in Wings3D.
The bear was made from a unified skinned ZSphere model. The fur was added with the fiber brush after merging all the layers, rendering and then baking. After baking, it's best to use a flat color material for the fiber brush and also set it to flat color in the modifiers pallette of the tool menu. The color was set to "continuous" in the picker pallette. After adding the fur, I added some more fur details using the color swatch in the picker pallette so I could use whatever color I wanted so the interior parts of the bear wouldn't still be solid-colored.
The bricks were done with an alpha mask applied to a plane and then an offset applied to it in the deformations pallette. I then used the smudge brush to make the bricks "irregular".
The trash in the trashcan was just a couple of low-res sphere3ds with a lot noise applied to them. The "gunk" was created with the spray stroke and then smudged using the smudge brush.
Again, I used a shadowless spotlight for a backlight.
TVEyes of ZBrushcentral suggested adding noise to the material I was added fur to which helped the look of the fur.
