Description
Bryce Strat.
I built this originally in Rhino then I used Adobe illustrator export from Painter.
After that I mainly modeled it in Carrara, the curves on the body were particularly
hard to get right. I modeled it right down to last detail including strings, bridge saddles etc..
Then I mapped it in UV Mapper and imported and rendered it in Bryce.
Its currently on sale in my store as a Poser and Bryce prop.

I'd submit this to Fender - it's that good. The colours (eg. the varnished maple for the headstock and particularly the sunburst for the body) are superbly accurate. I have a couple of comments, but I'm really scratching around to find them because the model is so good - and because I've got a Squier Strat sitting opposite me as I write! The pickups seem a little too prominent (might be the angle at which they're being viewed) and the body edges need a bit more contouring (again, might be the lighting). Great work!

This is really good. I have a 1979 Natural Ash Stratocaster with black, and you got close enough that only a Strat owner could notice minor details. Very good work! I'm still looking for the Jimi character by the way.
