Description

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep. I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and forever cry. I am not there. I did not die. ......unknown this is a tribute to my Grandmother..she passed away last week i found out right after my neighbor found my dog.. i wish to thank all of you for your kindnesses and well wishes and concerns and emails im sorry i have been slow to respond .....im just still grieving......i wish i could have said goodbye thank you all from the bottom of my heart

This is a fantastic image to say the least. I know well the pain of losing a loved one and my heart goes out to you in your time of mourning.

When I started to read your text I thought "oh no, first your dog and now this" ... but I'm so glad he's been found :-)
I'm reminded of losing my own grandmother four years ago. I wish I could've said goodbye too, but her mind had deteriorated so much that I doubt she'd have understood me.
This, Amber, has to be among your best, I think. I reiterate that you're one of the most unique talents here. There isn't much that I'd do to improve this. The pose of the figure alone is great in itself :-)
"Good job" as you say over there :-D

I am so sorry about your loss! This is,as Jim says, one of the best images I have seen by you. Maybe because the pain is so easily conceived.

I share the pain you feel, and my condolences to you and your family. Keep the love you've been gifted with: those who loved us still to protect us even from the other side of sky. All my love, hugs.

"I sometimes hold it half a sin / To put in words the grief I feel / For words, like Nature, half reveal / and half conceal the Soul within..." Tennyson. I don't know what to say, only this: I grieve with you, and I hope that soon this difficult period in your life will be behind you...Life really is like a voyage, and when you're in the jungle, you have to move on untill the jungle ends, no matter how tired you are. Don't give up. More people than you can imagine need you and your way of being creative.

This is stunningly beautiful, and a magnificent tribute. I'm a bit late but I sympathize with your loss and I wish you the best.
