BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

RETIRED
The mood: A wonderful thought my friend. If not peace then at least a truce so every mothers child can go home to rest. I see two beligerants facing one another, each wondering how to step back first ... The work - no real need to comment, textures and colors are ever wonderful at least. :-D

Mirek's right: the foreboding sky surrounds them with loneliness. Beautiful.

I love how you have these objects protruding to the sky, as if god's being summoned from the depths of deep, dark waters.
