Description
This image is really an experiment in textures and materials. I just want to say here I did have to do some post work in Photoshop on the middle and foreground. But, the basic textures were created in Vue. I use a combination of JPEG ground grass and floral photos in the material editor. I play around with them until I end up with something interesting. I mainly work with the Function editor to combine the photos. It

More than worthwhile experimentation John, this is a beautifull image. I dont want to crit this at all! but 2 things I can see would improve it. 1. The mirror texture for the water is a bit 'too much' maybe add a really soft bump to it, and the trees on the right would look better with more depth to them. But this really is awesome!

wow! gosh I'm lovin' this piece. A beutiful mood with dreamy lighting. I agree with Kutter about the water. A little blur in the reflection would add to the mood. :)

aha an experiment - well, go on doing experiments if you get such stunning results - i love it, maybe the mirror on the water is a bit to much for reality, but who wants to see reality - if i want to see the reality i can look out of the window - so this picture is just awesome - very well done i relly love it - so as i said before, go on with your "experiments" ;-) --- see you uwe

The grass is absolutely brilliant! The best I've seen for a long time :) How about making a meadow or something using tons of that grass and flowers? Would be awesome!

Wow!! Fantastic work!!The grass and flowers are excellent done ... you have mixed photos with the material editor and got this result (except some postwork)? I must try this as soon as i have installed Vue again .. Very beautiful scene!!
