Description

Bryce 5/Poser 4/PS 7. Just having received Photoshop as a gift, I had to practice learning it. So I put it through its paces and created this statue which required a tremendous amount of postwork, ie. edge cleanup, texture painting, cloning areas etc. What a marvelous program Photoshop is. Render was done with premium settings: 36 RPP, Soft shadows, 3 colored sphere lights with 36 shadow setting. Hope you all enjoy. Tell us what you think of our efforts!

Oh, this is a wonderful one! I love (cemetery) statues like this! The pedestal is brilliant. If it's me allowed to say, it's only my opinion, i would make the statues a little bit darker, to get more depth like the basic./// Excellent Picture!!!

the Pia and I go waaaay back to the NY world's fair in 1964. Anyone else? I saw it again more recently, at St Peter's in Rome, the Vatican or the Louvre, can't recall. It is THE best marble sculpture I've ever seen. Paper-thin translucent marble that looks like cloth or skin, it's fantastic. and so is yours, excellent likeness. And I have the same feelings about PhotoShop - what a fantastic tool. What if Mike Angelo had that? (voting now...)

I was already impressed by the thumbnail... so incredibly 3D it is. Then, I am just back after a long wekend in Rome.. logged just so near to SAaint Peter, that the impression of the real Pietas is totally in me and man, here you've done an outstanding job. All my admire :)
