Knights, used a Photoshop plugin filter made by a company called Axion. It's an old plugin, so they give it away for free! You have a lot more control over the flares than the one that comes with Photoshop. I personally can't get enough of it! BTW, thanks all for the comments!

OOPS! Knights, I misunderstood, (it's been a very long day!) The nebula are made by...physics. The background is a photo taken by the Hubble telescope.
