Description

A big thank you goes to Maria (CavalierLady) who showed me some wonderful line texture possibilities with "Backdrops" and who set the lights in this composition.
Another thank you to Peter (KPK) who made me play with some very nice stuff (more features are included).

After a very short night and a very long and hard day at the office and yet another night too short my PC showed me this finished render.
I hope you like it. The colours might open my eyes that are really tiny today...

The linework is pretty amazing-- I think it would benefit with higher contrast-- but I know you don't do post.

The line work is wonderful. It seems to add to the feeling of heat being radiated. Lovely delicate spiral, the source of the heat and light.

Wow, Andreas! You took this technique to new heights! Fantastic composition! You really have style when it comes to texturing. The night was short because my little daughter became ill in the evening and I got a call from my job very very early. I created the fractal on last Saturday and Sunday.
