Description

This repost reduces the "noise" on the table and walls and have scratched the table and scraped the zinc chromate paint to bare aluminum on part of the edges as suggested by cyborgguineapig. 8/17/03: Made changes to antenna & ground terminals and wire insulation to make it more historically accurate. Slightly different camera settings and new access panel texture.

this is really great in the details and dials but something about the really noisy material doesn't grab me. I think it would look much better IMO if you tried to make it look a little more dirty in the material, slight scratches, tiny dings, even a tiny bit of rust, What you think?

The wrinkle-finish on the case looks right to me. Well done.

Appreciate your comments. cybor: agree that the dirt from DirtyNuts plug-in is grainy, just using the default settings, need to fool around with it or as you suggested a painted texture. Don't want to spend too much time right now as this is just a part of a grouping I have planned.

Reminds me of Hammerite paint. Nicely done though.
