Description

Ben-Hur (1959) and, The Ten Commandments (1956) are my 2 favorite movies, not just because he was a good actor, but because they were epics. They don't do very many epics in this day and age. The 2 most recent that I can remember are Gladiator and Titanic. Anyway...I hope you enjoy this sketch. For me, they take me back to the time and place when I first saw them. This sketch, referenced from a stock photo found at free-stock-photos.com, was sketched with H, HB, and B and 2B pencils. The Frame, matting reworked by me, Background Gradient with texture, and eyes were accomplished through PSP8. The matting has a brocade pattern which was employed using the brushes in PSP8. Thanks again for stopping by...Cheryl

You've taken on a different challenge in this one carving him from native stone! This definitely will light up the celebrity gallery.
