Description

since im in a slump right now, im moving some older works over here. hope no one minds again. This was titled the poet, I wanted to keep it simple and quiet. The original was removed from http://nebel-stock.deviantart.com/ shes a great photographer and had some really interesting shots of herself on deviant. This one was a black and white face shot and was very dark. I hope I did her justice in it, the thought I had when I did this manip was the feeling of being alone with ones self, with only a simple poetic thought, whatever that might be.Thats why I brought in a figure I labled a poet. other stock used from http://photobreed.com/photopaks/ and inertia. soak it in.

oh you certainly did her justice with this! I am so happy you are posting here old works of yours, it gives me more insight on your refined and vibrant visual language, always in between melancholy and energetic statements that hit. I am once more impressed :)

Beautiful composition, you really did this wonderful face justice. I like the mix of color an BW, your message gets through clearly. "Oldies are goldies", as someone said when I posted old ones once.
