BIOHi Gang,
About me? Oh geeze... Lets see. I have been working in Graphics for the last 12 years or so. I have worked at RayDream, Fractal, MetaCreations and Curious Labs in the QA department. I have owned a graphics and animation business and am partnered in another. My focus these days is working in the field of 3D stereoscopic imaging. What a blast!
If you ever want to get into the guts of a program you can certainly do it in a QA department! :) I have worked on many programs that you have heard of such as RayDream Studio, Carrara, several Kai Power Tools releases, Painter, Painter 3D, MetaStream (now called Viepoint Experience Technology), Avatar Lab, Poser, Poser Pro Pack and now Poser 5.
I can honestly say that Poser has always been my favorite out of all these tools. It is powerful and fun!
Cheers,
LawnDart

hey cutcopypaste... ummmm this is just a closeup of another post... the original was for a specific purpose SPECIFICALLY designed without a background... ummmm so.. THAT comment may not be approriate... nor the comment about the 'bungled product' - looks like it works fine to me...? as for the quality of this render... the texturing and the rust of the metal are great... the meter looks damn near photographic... THAT to me says 10. you might be one of those folks with a bone to crunch for some odd reason, but i think this pic is cool.

Well... At least you give some reasonning behind why you like/dislike the image. And I think that's... "WOW.. COOL"

Very clever approach to the cracked glass. Nice job, and it looks excellent! Wondering if this is C or RDS.... Just curious.
