That is the wonderful thing about art. It can spark different feelings and emotions by all those who view it. I am pleased that this piece isn't limited to a single thought. To me sanctuary should be a comforting place where all feel safe. Yet this piece also has a feeling of being closed off. Defeating the purpose of a true sanctuary. Thank you for your comments.
