Description


This is the first and only image I rendered in 3DSMax. It uses the 180 degree dome of lights to simulate the radiosity.

I'd say you forgot one very important step...Turning on cast shadows. Make sure to turn down the shadow map size on the dome lights. Adjust the samples to help clean up any artifacts you may get. Also...It is hard to tell, but do you even have a light that acts as the sun?...Make sure you do and that it is a direct light with shadow casting turned on.

I said this is the first and only image I made in 3ds when I first tried it then I stop using it because I used other 3d softwares and that 3DS wasn't my type. This is the only image had to post and to note that this image is not an actual inspiration, just a test render.
