Description
I get into this weird video game mode sometimes and design em in my mind. This is one. Based on a song
Biotechnology corporations controlled the world for many years. But in the mid 21st century, something went horribly wrong. Bio went out of control, turning life into a mutant nightmare. But with the rise of biotechnology, a resurgence of magic takes place as well. Sarah Ravensheart, the most powerful sorceress on Earth, travels the world, battling both the mutants and the forces of the bio-corporations who are trying to control them. Her family and friends dead, she's a force of hatred, power and emotion, magic versus mutants in the dark places. She is humanity's last, best hope.
She's been raising her voice since the day she was born
to the blood painted clouds in the nocturnal storm.
On the inside she twists and she flares and she boils in her anger.
From her concrete enclosure, she tries to escape,
but the door has been closed and she's left it too late.
And her eyes are red;
And her hair is black;
And her wheels keep turning.
She thrashes and spits like a demon possessed,
so determined she'll never be laid down to rest.
She will fight to the end.
Her blood will be spilled,
and she'll laugh at her tormentors toil.
As an ocean of flame, she will roll in the night,
like a tidal wave rocking the shore.
Such a wonderful, wonderful sight.
And the shadows dispel in her light.
And the wheels keep turning.
And the fires keep burning.
And the storm begins to grow.
She can roam so freely.
And the wheels keep turning.
And the fires keep burning.
And the sky basks in her glow.
She can see so clearly.
And the wheels keep turning.
And the fires are burning.
In the wind she takes control.
She will vent her fury.

Very heavy, indeed, as well, deep. I've been there.
