Description

Finally I managed to get a shot of a peacock butterfly :-) It's a bit under exposed, but I think it gives the spots a bit of a glow. Another thing I should have thought of when I shot this, was to get some more space in the right of the picture. Thanks for having a look, and any comments...I hope you like it :-)

Perfect. I like underexposeing, it makes the colors so deep. But you could use curves to make it a bit lighter if you like, I would not do that ;) And in the eye's on the wing the white is allready white.

Wonderful, wonderful!! ..... I agree that there could be a bit more space on the right....I think the exposure works well here. How awesome you got your shot!

I'm with kropot, it's just right. You could do a little magic in PS to get a little more space to the right, but I think it looks fine the way it is.

I know I'm terribly picky but I can't help it -each time I see a butterfly on a flower I wish the colors would go well together... And finally, I got my wish! :D Perfect shot (I know how difficult they are to capture!) and beautifully color-wise composed :)))
