Description

Here's the first film back from my brief journey up the California north coast. This is the sort of fogged in weather I had the entire time. Moody and with a unique beauty, but not exactly "funkandjazz cloud" weather... Midday, Mendocino County, California.

Excellent photo as always. This kind of reminds me of the Oregon Coast with all the rocks out there. :-)

I love the air when the weather's like this. It makes me feel like every cell in my body is taking a deep breath, a big 'gulp' of oxygen. Beautiful and moody shot, indeed :)

that bird on rock (Cormoranus) is what makes it all work. It seems Neptunus messenger ordering waves to get higher. so beautiful.

Yeh, danob said it, UK North Cornish coast in summer! Grin. Wild and rugged but still beautiful in all it's splendour.

At first I thought you used a high speed film because the sky looks grainy, but then as I scrolled down to the bottom where the bird is perched you can see it is tack sharp!! Actually...if you split the image in half the upper half makes a great image as well as the bottom half...gave us a "two-fer-one" special!! [];^)
