well, that was interesting... the abusive banter from the above not withstanding, the only "critique" I have is really more of a comment... but tell me you have an uncompressed video version for the actual Siggraph and not this one... while it makes the filesize smaller, there were a couple of places where it just didn't look good...

but no critiques on the work, there never are with your work... good luck mate = )

I think you bring up a good point DeathGoth, but this isn't the place to express it. Probably more appropriate for the forums. Downloaded your reel and it looks great! Nice work. -- 3d_e

Excellent work Tim!! I am not an animator. I am a 3d modeller. That is what I specialise in. So the problem for me recently has been how to best put together my reel to show off my modelling skills using professional presentation, but without getting side tracked into FX and animation. I think a demo reel should stay focused on your key skills, in my case modelling. You have given me lots of ideas and inspiration with this demo reel. Thank you! :o)and again Great work!! Very impressive and professional. Mike.

Very nice work Tim, it was an excellent presentation, it really showed your modeling and layout skills perfectly. The contrasts between the wireframed and textured views were amazing....shows what a bit of work on the texturing can really do to relatively simple geometry..one question though, and I am sure its simply because of the rendertime, why not show a bit of a "walkthrough" animation on some of it? Just my humble opinion. Great work and I hope you get noticed with this fine demo...
